I need a thin sheet of material that is rigid enough so that a ping-pong ball bounces well on it, even at a thin gauge. I tried acrylic sheets (1/8in), but the ball just dies when it’s bounced on it.
I am looking to open a new table tennis club in London and just curious what aspects would influence people to choose to play in one table tennis club over another (assuming the distance to both clubs is the same). I would like to make it spacious, relaxed atmosphere with excellent quality tables (free to borrow bats and balls). The charge per person for one hour use would be £6. Any thoughts/advice would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
