Who thinks starting a Ping Pong Club in high school is a good idea?

Currently I’m in 11th grade and is starting to create a Ping Pong club. Although club submissions are over I plan to start one in the 12th grade. I play ping pong and my coach is willing to donate a table to my school.

Would it be a good idea to create a club, so I can have something to say in my college resume?

I play table tennis seriously and go to competitions, so I might want to start a club. Any comments on this would be great!

Great idea! We had one when i was in high school and i’d guess it had about thirty members. I loved it. We only had school wide competitions, but it was a lot of fun. Everyone who was on the team thoroughly enjoyed themselves, and this would definitely strengthen your college resume.

    Good Luck!

I think this is a great idea! When you go to pose your idea to your school, they should be happy to see that you already have a ping pong table to use. My advice would be to find a teacher in your school that would be willing to sponsor the club, find a room to play it in, and maybe create a petition for your fellow students to sign, that way your school board will realize that a ping pong club is an asset. You have a great idea, and I hope it works out!!!!

Yes this would be a good idea, it is good in resumes and also it would be a good way for yourself and others to get involved in school activities.

    Go for it!
You’ve got a skill use it and show other people how to do the same.
