What’s the use of having a ping pong table if the ping pong ball doesn’t bounce right off the table? Ever try dribbling a flat basketball? That’s the feeling you get trying to hit the ping pong ball on this table. The construction of this table is different than any standard ping pong table and the ball has absolutely no bounce off this table (i could be a probablem with the ball, but i doubt it).
I couldn’t be more dissatisfied with this “table”.

I bought this for my husband since he likes an occasional game of ping pong. It’s cute, well designed, and will be fun to play with once we get the hand of playing on such a small table. The table surface is plastic, but it is slightly textured. The net pops up automatically. The paddles are plastic but not flimsy. The rubber on them is nubby just like you find on a standard paddle. The ball is a thicker plastic than a regular ball. I don’t know if this is because a regular ball would bounce too much or what, but it feels very sluggish. We want to try this with a regular ball to see what happens.
It’s cute and will be fun until we find a place to put a full sized table.
