@yungtris77
I don’t even think he’s quite human.
April 26th, 2010 at 10:48 pm
ok ok, ma long really is a beast…
April 26th, 2010 at 11:08 pm
That is an interesting phenomenon. Is this a psychological phenomenon, or is it skill based?
April 26th, 2010 at 11:32 pm
It is common that in deciding games one side collapses
April 26th, 2010 at 11:35 pm
man. xu xin loses the last match 11-2. that is so bad… i don’t know what happened…

Oh no
… poor Wang Hao, that is sad. But he had his spotlight for a few years, and hopefully he will have a long happy life and maybe even help the next generation of players =).
Btw, tyoungos, you seem very smart and well-educated. May I ask what your background is?
April 27th, 2010 at 12:57 am
Wang Hao suffers from what Mark Twain called “The best of the time, the worst of the time” Syndrome. Decline he does rapidly as a result. Also thanks to China’s increasingly capitalist economy in which people are prone to pleasurable activities, and therefore unawarely destroy themselves, after they’ve become successful in their endeavors. ?????

I agree with your assessment of Xu Xin. Give him one more year before he’ll be mature for prime time, with fully developed strong backhand at mid-distance like Ma Lin. (His footwork is lightningly quick and he can cover a incredibly vast area to return an amazing shot.) There is no question he will be world #1. However, Ma Long at least has more seniority to take WTTC men’s single title in 2011 under the watchful eye of Chinese gov’t. Xu Xin will definitely win the 2015 WTTC, if not 2013.
April 27th, 2010 at 2:25 am
wow! That is amazing. And Xu Xin is so young too!!! By the time Xu Xin is old enough, I think he might become world number 1. Wow, another reverse backhand penhold player to be number 1.
but Ma Long beats Xu Xin very badly.
Why is Wang Hao declining so rapidly?
April 27th, 2010 at 2:53 am
@J0kerofHearts,
Not any more, son! You looked at the TT world in the rear mirror. Haha! Wang Hao’s basically gone after he won his last and only WTTC men’s single champion title in 2009. With his declining mental and physical shape, he can’t challenge the taller, quicker, more powerful lefty Xu Xin, not to mention he also lives out his last viability under the shadow of the new champion Ma Long. ?????
April 27th, 2010 at 3:52 am
i thought that wang hao is the top penholder?
April 27th, 2010 at 4:48 am
Ma Long is an absolutely killer player, I guess!
Does everybody know which equipment he play? (rubber, wood…)
April 27th, 2010 at 5:29 am
Is this vid. sped up?
April 27th, 2010 at 6:17 am
Wang Hao is till better than Xu Xin in my opinion. But Ma Long is so cool. As a matter of facts… i dont think i ever have seen such a fast and explosive player before.
April 27th, 2010 at 7:01 am
yeah am sorry guys, am working on it, i thinnk i have cracked it thom what do you think of the charity videos, are they at a good pace?

April 27th, 2010 at 8:06 am
Very often looks like it’s a wrong speed..(?…) ha? Faster then a real one..
April 27th, 2010 at 8:58 am
This match is China’s showcase for her best shakeholder of the world (Ma Long) and her best penholder of the world (Xu Xin) TODAY. Is there anyone having any question!? Haha! ?????
