March 27th, 2010 at 8:39 pm
but where’s the fault? i don’t understand.

She was not pointing out that Maze’s weakness was short underspin serve, She was saying that Ma Long has been exploiting the short-center position the whole match and he needs to throw in short left and short right not to win points but to add variety because he was starting to catch on to that short center position. Her whole point was that if you identify a weakness in your opponent, you still must use variation to keep that weakness there instead of letting them adjust to it.

March 28th, 2010 at 12:45 am
So, chen weixing is famous for his stinky behaviour now, shame on him
March 28th, 2010 at 12:51 am
whatever the matter, the players should have respect for the umpire’s decisions regardless of whether they are behaving like a pest or not.
Maze doesn’t know how to keep his cool, he is just like chen weixing… they should really stop behaving like kids

summary of DengYaPing:
first game, Long noticed that Maze has a slight weakness to short underspin serves, which is a general weakness for handshake players. Long focused on this to gain first 3 victories. But for game 4, Maze is focusing on returning these serves, thus negating the advantage. Ping is recommending adding more variety into Long’s serves, but eventually, still coming back to win based on Maze’s weakness for short serves.

The talking is one of the best. Too bad if you can’t understand Chinese. DengYaPing is ex-world-champion, telling that MaLong’s servings are not too smart since he always puts on the middle in short. YaPing also commented on the strategies of changing styles. YaPing can speak fluent English and she got Ph.D degree from Cambridge University, plus the few gold medals from the world championship and Olympics. She is the real hero.

March 28th, 2010 at 3:35 am
watch carefully the ball hits ma long’s side of the table, not the net
March 28th, 2010 at 3:37 am
omg SHUT UP
March 28th, 2010 at 3:41 am
Wait, someone explain please? Ma hit the net in a rally, but it still hits the table, so why was the point stopped and given to Maze? I think it happens twice
1:42 and 4:16
March 28th, 2010 at 3:44 am
Maze mopped the floor with his towel and the table,
and then wiped his sweat.
March 28th, 2010 at 3:47 am
Yeh that’s true.., the guy knows when to shut up. The women don’t. Probably talking about clothes and shoes and sanitary products.
