Satellite Tv: Entertainment At Its Finest
One day, a family decided to have a huge birthday party at their house for their six year old son. They thought that it would be a good idea to invite the parents of the thirty kids that had been invited to encourage community values and so all of the parents could get to know one another. This way they would feel safer in letting their children go over to other friend’s houses. They could establish trust in other parents to take care of their children as if they were their own.
The house had been decorated very elaborately. There were balloons everywhere. Confetti was strewn about the house. It reached every corner. The house had a huge backyard full of beautiful trees, flower beds, a gazebo, and a large, bright blue pool. For this special occasion, they had rented a huge inflatable slide thirty feet tall, a huge ball pit, and they hired a barbeque restaurant to come with equipment and all to cook for the massive amount of guests. For the parents, there was a nice horse shoe set up, a ping pong table, and a spotless pool table in the game room which also housed the massive high definition television that was used solely for sports events. As well, if the sun got too hot, there was always the option of taking a dip in the swimming pool.
The family of the birthday boy woke up at around eight that Sunday morning to put the finishing touches on the house and cleaned the leaves out of the pool. The house was entirely ready to go. The only things missing were all of the kids and all of their parents. At around eleven that morning, the doorbell began to ring and guests started arriving. Group after group started rolling in. The host family decided that it would be a good idea to invite everyone to make a name tag as around one hundred people would attend.
Around one that afternoon, pretty much all of the guests that had been invited had arrived. The party was huge with a solid one hundred people or more. Most of the guests were outside hanging out around the pool and the grand majority of the kids were playing on the inflatable slide- it was the main success at the party. The pool was also a hot ticket as the sun that day in July was smoking hot. Even adults who said no to the pool invitation had already taken at least a nice dip or dived in for a nice cooling off.
The men slowly but surely discovered the game room where the HD television was located, and more and more men started stumbling in after the NFL Sunday Ticket had been turned on. The women loved that all of the men had gone off to watch the game and took full advantage of their alone time to get to know one another and talk about school related topics as well as share their favorite recipes and things of the like. The party was the event of the summer and the birthday boy could not have been happier.
